Where to find boots for wide calves and thick thighs?
Since I'm a owner of thick thighs and I'm sure many of you are too. Last year I found myself struggling to get some of my favorite boots past my calves. Square one, not all tall boots are going to be made for us, I mean it is what it is. We either have to shop where the boots are made specifically for us or we have to know what to look for.
So first thing, the brands. The brands who make over the knee boots for our plus size thighs like Eloquii, Ashley Stewart, and Torrid. Brands like these carry wide width boots and wide calf boots that are made to get up past our calves and then up our thighs because they specialize in plus size clothing.
Recently larger variety stores like DSW have filters we can use to see only wide calf, but to make sure I highly suggest measuring the circumference of the widest part of your calves and checking size charts and additional details for measurements. If you don’t have measuring tape. I would look up the details of the most comfortable boot you already own on the brand’s website to see the measurements. Use that information as a loose guide.
